Greencastle Park Department sponsors snow sculpture contest

The Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor a snow sculpture contest from Jan. 1 through March 6.

Residents are invited to construct a snowman, snow woman, snow child or snow creature and submit it to the contest. Winners will be announced on March 7, 2013.

Entries should include a picture, the names of everyone involved, the location of the creation and when it was built.

Registration forms are available online at cityofgreencastle.com by clicking on the Parks and Recreation link.

Forms are also available at the Putnam County Museum, Putnam County Public Library, Greencastle Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Park Firebaugh's office and Greencastle City Hall.
