Phyllis M. Hadley, 77, Cloverdale, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013.

She was born in Anderson, Ind., on April 26, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Stella (Brown) Perry.

She was married on March 19, 1955 to Wilbur B. "Bill" Hadley, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 2005, after 50 golden years of marriage.

She is survived by her children, S. DeeAnn Perrine and husband Rexall, Cunot, Debra Hadley-Jones, Brazil, Dawn Nelson and husband Ronald, Clay City, Jerry Hadley, Brazil, Jack Hadley, Brazil, and Christopher Hadley, Clay City; her sisters, Edna Kitchen, Chesterfield, Alberta Bennett, Chesterfield, and Maxine Wilson, Anderson; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Cloverdale Community Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Alice Morgan; her brothers, Pat, Lewis, Thomas, Wayne and William Perry; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 11 from 3 p.m. until service time.

Graveside interment services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 at Arlington East Hill Cemetery, Arlington (Rush County).
