Boomer Visits Fillmore School

Making quite an unusual entrance in front of stunned students, Boomer literally rolls out of the bleachers onto the gym floor.

With messages like "books are cool, listen in school" and "eat healthy, live healthy," Indiana Pacer mascot Boomer visited Fillmore Elementary Friday afternoon. Boomer also executed some trademark basketball dunks, soaring over four students in one move, and catching a toss from aide Brenda Hazlett to slam home another.

Boomer got a little help from Alisha Hamilton in sharing his nutritional message.

There he challenged second-grader Hope Taylor to a push-ups contest.
