Michael Lee Garrett

Michael Lee Garrett, 59, Bainbridge, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 at Hendricks Regional Health.

He was born in Delaware County, the son of Bradley Garrett and Thelma Landess.

Mike attended Purdue University and was most recently employed at IVC in Brazil.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge and his hobbies included playing pool, golfing and fishing.

Survivors include companion Barbara Crist; daughter Alayna Garrett DeWees and husband Ben; stepsons Ryan Crist and Dustin Crist; grandchildren Marley Nicole DeWees, Lucas James DeWees, Kolby Ray Sutherlin and Ashton Wade Crist; brother Tim Landess; stepbrother Mike Landess; stepsister Leah Beko; uncles Jerry Landess and James Moyer; aunts Mary Landess and Mert Moyer; nephews Mitch Landess and Sean Landess; nieces Ami Thompson, Tara Sutton, Tori Abbott and Tonya Abbott; and cousins Lisa Reyes and husband Paul, Jim Landess and Gary Landess.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, his mother, stepfather Gene Landess and brother Pat Landess.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
