Women:

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The DePauw women's swimming team improved to 4-1 on the season following a 138-83 win at Illinois Wesleyan.

Picking up a pair of firsts were Caroline Bridges in the 50-yard freestyle (24.80) and the 100 free (53.94) as well as Emily Weber in the 1000 free (10:53.76) and the 500 free (5:20.41). Chelsea Courtney also was a double winner in three-meter diving (187.20 points) and on the one-meter board (195.65).

Other Tigers picking up firsts included Dana Zerbini in the 200 free (2:02.23) and Reese Edwards in the 200 backstroke (2:14.42).

DePauw wraps up the home portion of its schedule on Saturday, Jan. 26, when it hosts Chicago at 1 p.m.

Men:

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Ninth-ranked DePauw men's swimming team improved to 6-0 and extended its dual meet win streak to 22 following a 123-53 win at Illinois Wesleyan.

First-place finishes for the Tigers were turned in by Danny McGuiness in the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.14), Blake Lehmann in the 50 free (21.55), Alex Grissom in the 100 free (48.01), Stephen McMurtry in the 500 free (4:58.67) and Andrew Petersen in the 200 breaststroke (2:15.06).

The Tigers also won the 200 medley relay a Lehmann, Petersen, Chris Ercoli and Grissom finished in 1:38.31. DePauw's 200 free relay of McMurtry, Ercoli, Duncan Macmillan and George Morrison also won in 1:31.92.

DePauw wraps up the home portion of its schedule on Saturday, Jan. 26, when it hosts Chicago at 1 p.m.
