GHS Band garage sale on Feb. 9 to help fund spring trip to New York City

On Saturday, Feb. 9, the Greencastle High School Band will be holding a huge garage sale from 8-11 a.m. in the multi-purpose room in the high school.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the band's trip this spring to New York City. The band will be performing at the Sony Building in downtown Manhattan, as well as sightseeing, seeing a Broadway musical and taking a dinner-dance cruise.

More than 20 families will be participating in this garage sale. The public may enter the building at the doors just south of the cafeteria.

Director Bob Hedge has requested that everyone support the band, as well as find some great deals.

The band's next concert is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Parker Auditorium. Admission is free.
