Library 'Books That Made a Difference' series to resume with Mills, Wilson on April 15

The Putnam County Public Library and the DePauw University Libraries presents the second program of Books That made a Difference series on Monday, April 15 at 11:40 a.m. at PCPL.

The series features local personalities who speak on the impact of a book on their lives.

Claudia Mills and P.T. Wilson will be the guest speakers at this event. Claudia is an author, Distinguished Visiting Professor of Ethics and associate professor of philosophy at DePauw. She will discuss the book "Betsy and Tacy Go Downtown" by Maud Hart Lovelace.

P.T. is pastor of Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church, the DePauw University chaplain, and a licensed mental health counselor. He will discuss "Stranger in a Strange Land" by Robert Heinlein.

Other speakers in this series have included Judge Diana LaViolette who spoke on the book, "To Kill a Mockingbird" and Doug Harms, professor of computer science at DePauw, who discussed "The Mind's I" by Douglas Hofstadter and Daniel Dennett.

This is a Brown Bag event so everyone can feel free to bring a lunch. Drinks and dessert will be provided.
