Cooling program

Putnam County residents can cool off with the Energy Assistance Program of Western Indiana Community Action Agency.

For help with summer cooling costs or fans via the summer cooling program, residents can call 653-4017 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Fans are available in the Putnam County office beginning Tuesday, June 19.

For assistance in Clay County, call 812-443-0122 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

For assistance in Vigo County, call 812-234-3517.
