Sarah Christine Hendricks, 94, Cloverdale, died Thursday at The Waters of Greencastle.

Born in Crittenden County, Ky., she was the daughter of J.B. and Connie (Ford) Cloyd.

She had been a secretary at the Indiana State Farm at Putnamville. She was a graduate of Loyckyear's Business College at Evansville, and was a member of New Providence Baptist Church, Greencastle.

She married Thomas R. Hendricks on July 24, 1943. He died May 31, 1974.

Surviving are a daughter, Emily Hendricks Lafayette; son Thomas C. Hendricks, Cloverdale; sister Lucille Cloyd, Marion, Ky.; brothers Gilbert Cloyd, Marion, Ky., and Charles Cloyd, Mayfield, Ky.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with burial in New Providence Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Saturday.
