The 10-and-younger Cal Ripken District Tournament took place in Cloverdale and finished July 2. Tournament champions were the Greencastle All-Stars. Team members include (not in order) Duke Duff, Ichiro Mozawa, Tanner Nicholson, Lane Winslow, Carl Basile, Jeff Smiley, Zach Secrest, Jonas Trammell, Jason Pierce and Levi Lewis. The team, and the runners-up from Owen Valley, competed this past weekend at the state tournament at Riley.
