Karen (Troth) Stover, 57, Sheridan, died Tuesday at The Heart Center of Indiana.

Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of Floyd and Helen Marie Troth.

A 1967 graduate of Speedway High School, she was a 1972 graduate of University of Evansville with a degree in art education. She was employed at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis in patient financial services for 17 years as a hospice patient account representative.

She was a member of First Christian Church of Sheridan where she was active in Morning Glories Circle, choir, a deacon and deaconess and served on many committees. She was a member of Lakewood Christian Church in Lakewood, Ohio, Kiwanis of Sheridan and Red Hat Society of Sheridan.

She married Rev. Vernon J. Stover Jr. on Dec. 18, 1971. He survives.

Also surviving are her father and stepmother, Floyd and Erna Troth; two brothers, Dennis Troth, Greencastle, and Jack Troth and Sandy, Dale; two sisters, Cheryl Nicolet and husband Mike, Fort Wayne, and Marsha Arnold and husband Bruce, Lima, Ohio.

Services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Sheridan First Christian Church, with Rev. Sylvia Mill officiating. Interment will be in Old Union Cemetery, Jamestown.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday at the church.

Kercheval Funeral Home, Sheridan, is handling arrangements.
