Maxine M. Steele

Maxine M. Steele, 78, Brownsburg, died Sunday.

A 1945 graduate of Greencastle High School, she had been a secretary at International Harvester for 10 years.

Surviving are son Scott Steele, daughter Karen Weber and husband Brian, sister Norma Dixon, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Steele, son David Steele, brothers Franklin, Eugene Raymond and Edgar York.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Entombment will be at Washington Park North Cemetery.

Visitation is noon-2 p.m.
