Memorial service

A memorial service is set for Sunday, April 23 for Walter Olson, 89, who died Feb. 20 in McAllen, Texas.

Service time is 2 p.m. at Fillmore Christian Church.

He had resided in Minnesota, and wintered 28 years in Alamo, Texas.

He moved to Indiana after he married Thelma Jean Sutherlin in 1998. She survives.

Also surviving are sons, Randy and Jerry, both of Minnesota; daughters Colleen Trierweiler and Cheryl Irving, both of Minnesota; stepchildren Allan and Michael Sutherlin, Indianapolis, and Diane O'Brien and husband Robert, Kathy Sutherlin, Indianapolis, and Connie Hamilton, Bainbridge.

Son Gary preceded him in death.

Services will be conducted by Rev. Bobby Hopper.
