Bertie Lou Foster, 77, formerly of Frankfort, died Saturday at Wesley Manor Health Care Center.

Born in Warren County, she was the daughter of Glenn and Fern (Ashley) Crane.

A graduate of Frankfort High School, she had worked at Holiday Travel in Frankfort as an agent for several years. She was a member of First Christian Church and Delta Sigma Kappa sorority. She had lived in Greencastle for five years.

She married Richard C. "Pony" Foster in March 1952. He died Nov. 25, 2003.

Surviving are a daughter Rebecca Plunkett and husband Dave, Greencastle; two sons, Michael Foster and wife Jenny, and Patrick Foster and wife Betty, all of Frankfort; four grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bunnell Cemetery with Rev. John Morris officiating.

Visitation will follow the service until 2 p.m. at First Christian Church fellowship hall.
