Joe M. Clabough, 91, Greencastle, died Wednesday at Hickory Creek at Sunset, Greencastle.

Born in Tennessee, he was the son of Mark Sylvester and Mary Elizabeth (Henry) Clabough.

He was a World War II veteran and was a chef for many years.

On Oct. 10, 1961, he married Edna Ellenora Carter. She preceded him in death.

He was a member of the VFW and American Legion Post in Indianapolis.

Survivors include sons Rev. Mark Clabough, Florida, Russell Clabough and wife Sheila, Massachusetts, Clyde R. Meyer, Mooresville, and David L. Meyer and wife Debbie, Mooresville; daughters Candice Clabough, North Carolina, Joyce Cline and husband Bernie, Reelsville, and Sandy Hanson and husband Jim, Indianapolis; 15 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Graveside funeral services will take place at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery, Zionsville.

Visitation is from 10-11:30 a.m. at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
