Andrea G. Carter

Andrea G. Carter, 27, Lebanon Ind., formerly of Charleston, Ill., died Sunday following an automobile accident.

Born in Mattoon, Ill., she was the daughter of Michael and Barbara (McClerren) Lannon.

A 1997 graduate of Greencastle High School, she married Jeffrey Carter on March 7, 2003, at Las Vegas. He survives.

She graduated from Purdue University in 2001 with a degree in nursing. She was a neo-natal intensive care nurse at Clarion North Hospital, Carmel, and was a member of the Baptist faith. She was also an active supporter of the March of Dimes.

Other survivors include father Michael Lannon, Witchita, Kansas; mother Barbara Truchan, Valparaiso; brothers Robert J. Fernandez, Kenny Fernandez, and Rocco Truchan; sisters Nichole L. Lannon, April Lannon, and Emma Truchan; maternal grandparents B.F. and Dorothy McClerren, Charleston, Ill.; and paternal grandmother Goldie Lannon, Charleston.

Services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday at Caudill-King Funeral Home, Charleston, Ill. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Mattoon, Ill.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service.
