Madeline Madge Crosbie, 83, Greencastle, died Wednesday.

Born in Mattoon, Ill., she was the daughter of Garza and Hazel Baldwin.

She grew up in Vincennes. She attended Indiana University, studying to be a medical technician. She had worked at Eastside Pediatric Center in Indianapolis for several years, and had served as director of the Altar Guild at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Indianapolis.

She married James C. Crosbie, who preceded her in death after 58 years of marriage.

Surviving are four children, Kathleen D. Agnew and husband David, Anne B. Crosbie, James E. Crosbie and wife Rebecca, and Robert C. Crosbie; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother Garza Baldwin Jr.

Services are being handled by A.R.N. Cremation Services, Indianapolis.
