DePauw men beat Rhodes on soccer field

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The DePauw University men's soccer team moved its season record to 5-3, including 2-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, on Sunday, following a 5-2 win over Rhodes.

Nick and Scott Noel each scored two goals and Jeremy Rielley added another in addition to one assist. The Tigers had a 2-0 lead at halftime and extended the margin to 5-0 midway through the second half.

Rhodes outshot DePauw, 15-14, but the Tigers had a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks. John Fenley had three saves for the Tigers.

DePauw hosts Oglethorpe on Friday at 1 p.m.

Rhodes 0 2 -- 2

Next Match -- The Tigers face Oglethorpe on Friday at 1 p.m.
