On Sunday, the DePauw University men's soccer squad battled Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Centre to a 1-1 tie at Boswell Field.

The Tigers are 9-4-2 on the season, including 4-2-1 in league play, while Centre is 11-3-2 overall and 4-2-1 in the conference.

David Horne put the Colonels ahead with a goal off an assist from Brad Borough at the 25:55 mark, but DePauw's Blake Porter knotted the game off an assist from Nick Noel at 76:42.

DePauw had a 22-21 advantage in shots on goal, while Centre tallied eight corners to the Tigers' five. John Fenley recorded six saves in goal for DPU, while Centre's Chris Creger had six.

DePauw travels to Hendrix on Friday in the final weekend of the regular season.
