Wenona M. Hurt, 94, Indianapolis, formerly of Cloverdale, died Sunday evening at Methodist Hospital.

Born in Clay County, she was the daughter of Denny F. and Mary E. (Shingledecker) Berry.

She was a homemaker.

She married Robert Clyde Hurt on Aug. 28, 1933. He died Oct. 12, 1985.

Surviving are two sons, Hershell Hurt and wife Marjorie, Stilesville, and James Hurt and wife Irene, Loogootee; four daughters, Norma Rose Cramer and husband Dan, Martinsville, Linda Tincher, Noblesville, Arleen Poynter and husband Clinton, Monrovia, and Shirley Hurt, Fishers; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, a sister and a granddaughter.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hall, with Pastor Alan Barber officiating.

There will be no visitation.
