Claude Wood

Claude William Wood, 83, Reelsville, died Thursday at his residence.

Born in Indianapolis, he was the son of Roy and Mary Belle (Vest) Wood.

He was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School, and had owned and operated Horizon Printing in Indianapolis, retiring in 1981. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the Cloverdale, Southport and Barth Place United Methodist Church, as well as the Greencastle American Legion.

He married Vonda Juanita Jones on April 6, 1947. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Dwight W. Wood and wife Janet, Reelsville, and Kevin L. Wood and wife Robin, Lebanon; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Green-castle, with Pastor Paul Fulk officiating. Entomb-ment will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.

Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Sunday.
