Margaret Kendall

Margaret B. Kendall, 76, Greencastle, died Tuesday.

Born in Beaver Dam, Ky., she was the daughter of Aisie and Mabel (Tatum) Hill.

She was a member of Hanna Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 14 years, Wilbur C. Kendall; children Allen Buchanan and wife Julie, Greencastle, Venita Buchanan Ray and husband Larry, Central City, Ky., Lisa Taylor and husband Daryl, Greencastle; and Diane Kendall, Greencastle; three sisters, Freda Jones, Juanita Spradling and Edna Gebhard; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, James A. Buchanan.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hanna Street Baptist Church, Greencastle, with Rev. Patrick Smith officiating. Committal services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Alexander Memorial Park, Evansville. Entombment will follow.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
