Monday, February 12, 2007

Anyone with a Putnam County farm scene photo to be proud of, now has a chance to show it off, and maybe even win a prize for it!

Photos for the annual Ag Days photo contest can be sent or dropped off at the Purdue-Putnam County Extension Office, located at 209 W. Liberty St., Greencastle, 46135. Photos should be received by Friday, March 2. There is a limit of five per person.

The entrant's name, phone number and address should be included on the back of each photo. Photos will be returned to the Extension office following Ag Week, which is March 19-22, and can be picked up there.

Prizes donated from the Greencastle Wal-Mart will be awarded to the top three photos at the Ag Week Breakfast, set for Tuesday, March 20 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building. The winning photos will also be included in the special Ag Week Section that will be inserted in the BannerGraphic on Saturday, March 17.

Photos should be no larger than 8x10, and should not include a frame or any matting.

For more information on the photo contest, call Tammy Amor at the Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce, at 653-4517.
