Kindergarten round-up at Clovedale Elementary

Kindergarten Round-Up is scheduled for April 11-12 at the Cloverdale Elemen-tary School.

Children who are age 5 on or before Aug. 1 are eligible for enrollment in kindergarten for the 2007-08 school year.

Call the elementary office at 795-4339 by March 21 to set up a time for the kindergarten screening on April 11 or April 12. A parent and the child need to come on only one of those days.

On the scheduled appointment day, parents need to bring the following items for their child:

-- Birth certificate.

-- Immunization record.

-- Social security number.

These items will be copied and attached to the child's school records. In order for a child to be assigned to a classroom, the office must have the birth certificate and the immunization record.

Each child will participate in the kindergarten screening procedures of a hearing test, language screening, vision screening, and readiness test.
