Mildred Pauline Witty

Mildred Pauline Witty, 83, Crawfordsville, died Saturday in the Lane House Nursing Home at Crawfordsville.

Born at Brazil, she was the daughter of Jesse and Mary (Myers) Brush.

She was a homemaker and had worked at P.R. Mallory. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church.

She married Otis G. Witty on Feb. 3, 1940 and he preceded her in death on June 18, 1993.

Survivors include two sons Ron Witty and wife Julee, Avon, and Tom Witty and wife Nancy, Bainbridge; two daughters, Donna Lasley and husband Jim and Sandra Shrewsbury and husband Carlos, both of Crawfordsville; sister Dorothy Guildenbecher, Alexandria; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Her parents, brothers Novel, Norman, Bob and Melvin, and sisters Lucille Fisher and Irene Nevins are deceased.

Services will be at noon Wednesday at the Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale, with Rev. Mike Whitacre officiating. Burial will be in Bainbridge Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday.
