Elsie T. Wilson

May 9, 1917-March 3, 2007

Elsie T. Wilson, 89, Crawfordsville, died Saturday at Williamsburg Health Care.

Born in Faubush, Ky., she was the daughter of Brent and Ada (Trimble) Tarter.

She was a member of East Side Baptist Church and retired from Medisave Drug Store.

She married Elbert Wilson, who died in 1993.

Surviving are five daughters, Elizabeth Crosby and husband Richard, Roachdale, Gloria German and husband Dick, Crawfordsville, Beverly Hartle and husband Larry, Lake Park, Ga., Deborah DeFreitas and husband Tom, Carrollton, Ga., Phyllis Neff and husband John, St. Clair, Mo.; two sons, Winston Wilson and wife Gini, and Joe Wilson, Crawfordsville; sisters Reva Marcum and husband Earl, and Adell Baugh and husband Arvis, Nancy, Ky.; brothers Garnett Tarter and wife Sue, Nancy, Ky., Lowell Tarter and wife Maritta, Nicholasville, Ky., Ruel Bill Tarter and Amos Tarter and wife Faye, Dayton, Ohio; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and several brothers and sisters.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at East Side Baptist Church, Crawfords-ville, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery North.

Visitation is 10 a.m. until services Thursday at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by Hunt and Son Funeral Home, Crawfords-ville.
