Raymond Louis Little, 79, Reelsville, died Monday.

Born in Clayton, he was the son of Paul Howard and Ruth Agnes (Woods) Little.

He served in the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Navy.

He was a farmer and had been employed by Lake Central Airlines and the Big 4 Yard in Avon.

He was a member of the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

He married Patricia Ann Rasch Little on Aug. 31, 1946. She survives.

Other survivors include children Michael Louis Little and wife Lorna, Plano, Texas, Sandra Kay Marchel and husband Bradley, Lafayette, Alan Paul Little, Terre Haute, Patricia Louise Shake and husband Randall, Christiansburg, Va., Thomas Raymond Little and wife Ginny, Bailey, Colo., Robert Joseph Little and wife Sherri, Las Vegas, Nev., John David Little and wife Cindy, Plainfield, and Daniel Stephen Little, Westfield; brother Howard Little and wife Betty; sister Joanne George; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, with Father Tom Stepanski officiating. Burial will be at Clayton Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled for 4-8 p.m. Friday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, with a Rosary service at 7 p.m.
