Thursday's cancellations

Last night's storm led to the cancellation or postponement of nearly every county sporting event.

In county matchups, Cloverdale and Plainfield golf at Greencastle was postponed until May 9. The Tiger Cubs' softball game at North Putnam was postponed indefinitely.

The Clovers' varsity baseball game at Edgewood and junior varsity game with Linton-Stockton were both canceled. Clover track waited out the storm and finished its meet with Cascade and Tri-West. Results are on 9A.

Greencastle's tennis match with Crawfordsville was postponed until Monday.

North Putnam's baseball came at Covington was postponed indefinitely. North track's action at the Athenian Relays in Crawfordsville went as planned. Results will be available in Saturday's BannerGraphic.

South Putnam had three home events which were all called: tennis with South Vermillion, softball with Tri-West and track with Danville and Monrovia. No reschedule dates were available at press time.
