HSPC fundraiser includes shot clinic, dunk tank Saturday

The third annual Putnam County Humane Society Rummage Sale is set to begin Thursday and conclude Sunday.

The event will take place at the Putnam County Fairgrounds goat barn and will run 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Humane Society medical fund.

A vaccination clinic has been planned for Saturday from noon-3 p.m.

Other activities in the event include a dunk tank from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, featuring Putnam County Sheriff Mark Frisbie, Greencastle Police Chief Tom Sutherland, PCSD representative Vickie Stewart, youth league softball coach Joe Tucker, and Fillmore/Central Elementary Principal Brad Hayes, among others.

Donated items for the rummage sale will be accepted through Thursday and may also be donated from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday at the fairgrounds.
