Mary Olive Hutcheson

Mary Olive Hutcheson, 97, Fairfield, Ohio, and formerly of Greencastle, died Monday. Born in Vigo County, she was the daughter of Charles Washington and Mary Franklin Hamilton.

She married Claude Hutcheson in Seelyville on Dec. 25, 1928. He preceded her in death in 1977.

She was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Indianapolis and Cincinnati and was a homemaker and a member of the Golden Circle Club.

Surviving are children, Frank Hutcheson and wife Sharon, Greencastle, Norman Hutcheson and wife Linda, Nokomis, Ill., Ralph Hutcheson and wife Martha, Indianapolis, Ellen Mood, Lexington, N.C., and Ruth Wells and husband Larry, Fairfield, Ohio; two brothers, Omer Hamilton and James Hamilton; a sister, Edwina Leaton; 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, son Marvin and six siblings preceded her in death.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Greg Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow at Boone-Hutcheson Ceme-tery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
