Couple mark 50th year

Freeda amd Kenneth Spencer

Kenneth and Freeda Spencer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 22.

They are the parents of Donna and Randy Nichols, and Carl and Cheryl Spencer.

A hog roast in their honor is set for 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 at the home of their daughter, Donna Nichols. (Follow signs on U.S. 40 toward Belle Union, or call 526-2676 or 653-5339 for directions.) Bring lawn chairs.

The couple requests no gifts, but cards would be welcome.
