GHS picks up win Thursday night
TERRE HAUTE -- The Greencastle volleyball squad earned a three-game win against West Vigo Thursday night. The Tiger Cubs won 25-21, 25-23 and 25-22.
"This was a nice win for us," head coach Trish Lowe said.
Kelsey Hennette tallied 19 assists, one block, two aces two kills and 23 digs, while Olivia Miller had 10 blocks, one block 13 kills and 15 digs.
Kristen Flint recorded seven blocks, three kills and 14 digs, with Brooke Lewis added five kills, nine digs and one block. Kayla Nobles had two kills and nine digs and Sarah Land added seven blocks, one block, one kill and three assist.
Mallory Miller contributed eight digs and two aces and Jordan Lewis added three digs.
"I was very happy with Mallory Miller off the bench to serve and play right side. She did a great job and I look forward to more from her. We did a better job on serve receive.
"Our team play and communication was better," Lowe added.
The Tiger Cubs will travel to Terre Haute North at 6 p.m. Monday.
