Clovers defeat Rox in four games

CLOVERDALE -- The Cloverdale volleyball team grabbed its 10th win of the season as they defeated Rockville in four games. The Clovers won 25-21, 25-17, 18-25 and 25-22.

"We played well tonight," CHS head coach Kathy Moore said. "We had some terrific digs and saves we need to work on consistence in hitting."

Ashley Koosman, Kristen McCammon and Allie Franklin helped lead the way by combining for a total of 100 digs.

Koosman lead the Clover squad with 17 points, one ace, seven kills, 39 digs and one block, while McCammon had seven points, four aces, 11 kills, 37 digs and one block.

Franklin six points, one ace, one kill and 24 digs.

Elizabeth Cheatham contributed five kills, nine blocks and two stuff blocks.

"I think the girls worked well together and I have a lot of opportunities to change our line up around and feel confident doing it," Moore commented.

The junior varsity lost to the Rox 25-20 and 25-11.
