Red Cross recognizes Kick-A-Thon effort

The American Red Cross would like to recognize the top three fundraisers for the Kick-A-thon that was sponsored by the All-American Karate Academy on Sept. 9.

"The event was so much fun and Aaron, Simon and Jacob raised almost $500 for the American Red Cross, Putnam County Unit. We are so grateful for the support that Steve and Niki have always given the Red Cross and their students are so gracious in helping to support their local unit, I know they all worked hard," said Chasity Wood, community development director.

There was a total of $1,005 raised by the students of the All-American Karate Academy.

Also participating and earning pledges were: Jarrett Curran, Eddie Curran, Lucius Alexander, Skylar Clifford, Phill Kass, Joey Kass, Josh Mitchell, Kayden Wheeler, Alexa Newlin, Evan Newlin, Seth Nichols, Parker Niles, Aidan Tyler and Tyler Coffman.
