Everett Leon Everman, 93, Roachdale, died at Friday morning at Mill Pond Health Campus at Greencastle.

Born at Morton, he was the son of James and Goldie (Obenchain) Everman.

He retired from IBM in 1974 and served on the town Board at Roachdale for several years. He was a decorated WWII veteran serving in the U. S. Army from 1941-46. He served in the Pacific theater of operations in the Avengers of Battan.

He was a member of the Roachdale Presbyterian Church, Roachdale Masonic Lodge, Order of Eastern Star, NRA, Indiana Sheriff's Association, Past President of the Roachdale Gun Club.

He married Ruby Perkins on Feb. 28, 1942 at Hattiesburg, Miss. She survives.

Also surviving are a son, Phillip and his wife Marlene Kay Everman, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Servies and Morgan, Roachdale, with Rev. Alan Small officiating.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday with Masonic memorial service at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
