John Buford Marsee Sr.

John Buford Marsee Sr., 77, Coatesville, died Saturday.

Born in Middlesboro, Ky., he was the son of Daniel Edward and Magnola Browning Marsee. He worked at Western Electric in molding, retiring in 1985.

Survivors include five daughters, Dinah K. Crouch, Hillsdale, Sherry McGinnis, Hazelwood, Jennalu Manly, Coatesville, Ramona Crouch, Bridgeport, Ill., and Kimberly Davis, New Mexico; two sons, John B. Marsee Jr., Greencastle, and Todd Marsee, Coatesville; 23 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bessie Patterson, London, Ky.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville, with burial at Walnut Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
