Maxine Felling

Maxine Felling, 88, Terre Haute, died Friday.

She retired in 1984 after 33 years teaching elementary school. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana State University. After retirement, she served a legal secretary for Felling Law Office in Greencastle for more than five years.

She married Edward Felling, who preceded her in death in 2005.

Surviving are two sons, Darrell Felling and wife Jill, and Charles Felling and wife Karin; daughter Carol Volkers and husband Jack; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, Terre Haute.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday.
