City Police

The Greencastle Police Department investigated one accident.

• Steward England, 56, Greencastle reported a car-deer collision to the Greencastle Police Department early Monday morning. England reported that he saw a deer as he drove over a hill on County Road 200W. He advised Sgt. Terry Eastham that he started to slow down but the deer ran in front of his vehicle. He was unable to stop in time, and hit the deer with his 2004 Chevrolet S10 pick up.

Meanwhile, the following tickets were issued:

Officer Christopher Helmer issued two tickets on Friday, Oct. 19.

• Chester Hall, 35, Greencastle was ticketed at the intersection of Liberty and Jackson Streets for driving while suspended.

• Judy Grumme, 47, Greencastle was ticketed on South Bloomingtom Street for speeding, 45 in a 30-mile zone.

Officer Jeff Modlin issued one ticket on Friday, Oct. 19.

• Jordan Starr, 18, Fillmore, was ticketed on Round Barn Road for speeding, 45 in a 30-mile zone.

Officer Charles Inman Jr. issued two tickets this week.

• On Oct. 19, Christopher Taylor, 21, Greencastle was ticketed on Bloomingtom Street for an expired license plate.

• On Oct. 21 Chrisee N. Walton, 23, Greencastle, was ticketed at the intersection of Jackson and Bloomington Streets for driving while suspended.

Reserve Officer Nicholas Eastham issued two tickets this week.

• On Monday, Taylor Eisner, 20, Oklahoma, was ticketed on South Bloomington Street for speeding, 45 in a 30-mile zone.

• Frederick Wildt, 21, Grand Rapids, Mich., was cited on South Bloomington Street for speeding, 58 in a 30-mile zone.

Officer Travis DeLaGrange issued five tickets tickets.

• Matthew Fair, 21, Brownsburg, was ticketed on East Washington Street for speeding, 47 in a 30-mile zone.

• Robert Delrosky, 50, Spencer, was ticketed on South Bloomington Street for speeding, 51 in a 30-mile zone.

• Norman Phillips, 65, Mitchell, was cited on Round Barn Road for speeding, 51 in a 30-mile zone.

• Sabrina Simmerman, 47, Greencastle, was cited for an expired license plate on Veteran’s Highway

• Travis Smith, 38, Bainbridge, was cited for an expired license plate on Round Barn Road.
