Marilyn Joan James Jordan-Rehl, 74, Brazil, died Sunday.

Born in Lena, Ind., she was the daughter of Ralph and Helen (Vaught) Morlan.

She graduated from Van Buren High School in 1963 and was a member of the Carbon Baptist Church and formerly attended the Bee Ridge Christian Church.

From 1963 until 1967 she, along with her husband at the time, John James, and the Wadsworth family owned Wadsworth Furnace Co. She was also part owner the House of Spirits in Brazil until her retirement.

She was married to Kenneth Rehl. He survives.

Also surviving are her three sons, John Richard "Dick" James II and wife Anita, Brazil, Rick James and wife Debbie, Brazil, and Jeffrey R. James, Terre Haute; sisters Shirley Vanes, Brazil, and Sue Houck and husband Bill, Brazil; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents and her second husband Lee D. Jordan.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lawson -- Miller Chapel, Brazil, with Pastor Howard Hughes officiating.

Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. until service time Saturday.
