Charles F. ‘Chuck' Brewer

Charles F. "Chuck" Brewer, 50, Greencastle, died Thursday at his residence.

Born in Indianapolis, he was the son of Frank H. and Joan P. (Breedon) Brewer.

He had worked as an auto body repairman at the Speedway Body Shop for 10 years, retiring after 20 years of service at the Sharp Ford body shop in Indianapolis. His memberships included the Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge, both in Greencastle, American Legion and AmVets, both in Rockville.

Surviving are a son, Charles Joshua Brewer, Indianapolis; sister Becky Smith and husband Ron, Greencastle; brothers Kenny Brewer and wife Kathy, and Bill Brewer and wife Melissa, both of Bainbridge; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Sheryl Flick.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Steve Williams officiating.

Burial will be in Brick Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday.
