Greencastle Fire Dept.

The Greencastle Fire department made four runs on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

• Fire officials were dispatched to 1542 Bloomington St. at 1:34 a.m., but the call was disregarded before leaving the station.

• At 4 a.m., fire officials were dispatched to assist police on Sycamore Street in Greencastle and returned to the station at 5:02 a.m.

• Fire officials were dispatched to 1022 Avenue B after to investigate an overheating furnace. The situation was contained prior to their arrival on scene and they returned to the station at 10:31 a.m.

• At 10:43 a.m., fire officials were dispatched to the Reelsville Post Office at 6297 West CR 750 South to assist with a gas leak. The call was disregarded at 10:53 a.m.
