SPMS split games with Eels

The South Putnam boys' seventh and eighth grade basketball teams split games with Eminence Monday night. The seventh grade won 27-23 while the eighth graders lost 47-28.

For the seventh grade, Aaron Parker led the way with nine points, followed by Justin Bumgardner, Lewie Knox, and Ryan Chestnut with four points each. Kinser Franklin and Jordan Frame added three points each.

In eighth grade action, Adam Smith led the way for the Eagles with 10 points. He was followed by Rob Gibson with nine, Cole Stevens with seven and Alex Eickhoff with two.
