GMS seventh graders win a pair

The Greencastle boys' seventh grade basketball team picked up a pair of wins over Rockville Tuesday. The A-team (5-4) won 35-30 and the B-team defeated the Rox 30-18.

GMS survived 25 turnovers on the night to get the win.

Hayden Stuckwisch led the Tiger Cubs with 14 points, while Nate Christy added 10. Mac Shuee recorded eight points, with Logan Pell collecting three in the win.

In B-team (4-4) action, Nick Nevins and Ethan Perdue paced GMS with five points each, with Logan Pell, Hunter Smith and Blake Battin adding four points each.

The Tiger Cubs will host Southmont in an A and B team outing at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
