Leadership forum Wednesday at Walden Inn

Tuesday, January 15, 2008

Join fellow leaders in Parke, Putnam, Montgomery, Fountain and Vermillion counties for a Regional Leadership Forum at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 at the Walden Inn in Greencastle..

It is presented by the Indiana Humanities Council in cooperation with the Putnam County Community Foundation and the Indiana Office of Rural and Community Affairs. This event follows one conducted Dec. 4 at Turkey Run State Park. Both events convene leaders from the non-profit, corporate, education and government sectors.

The theme of the IHC's Regional Forum series is "Connecting Regions to State Resources". Our forums are helping leaders from communities around the state come together across geographic and administrative boundaries to form relationships. The outcomes we are seeing are an increase in "regional" leadership, more cross-community projects and a better understanding of how partnerships and collaboration lead to improvements in the quality of life for all.

To register for the event, email Andrew Lee, Director of Leadership, Indiana Humanities Council, at ailee@iupui.edu.
