Tigers roll to 97-63 blowout win

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Tigers shot 64.8 percent from the floor and hit 14-of-22 three-pointers on the way to a 97-63 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win at Colorado College. DePauw improved to 11-4 overall and 3-2 in the SCAC, while Colorado College dropped to 0-14 overall and 0-5 in the conference.

Trevor Stone put an exclamation point on the first half as his heave from 10 feet beyond midcourt glanced off the backboard and through the net capping a 17-5 run and pushing DePauw's halftime lead to 45-21.

All 14 DePauw players who saw action also reached the scorebook as Stephen Schott led with 17 points and eight rebounds. Steve Lemasters followed with 14, while Brian Oilar added 12 and Mike Moore finished with 11 points and six assists.

Lance Jacobs led Colorado College with 15 followed by Brady Ohlsen with 12, Nate Brodman with 11 and Kyle Keefe with 10.

DePauw shot 70.4 percent in the second half, while the defense limited the hosts to just 37.5 percent for the game including 28.6 percent in the second half. DePauw also held a 36-21 advantage on the boards.

The Tigers travel to Austin on Sunday for a 2 p.m. CST contest.
