GMS 8th grade girls lose on road

CRAWFORDSVILLE -- The Greencastle 8th grade girls' basketball team opened their season on the road Tuesday at Southmont falling 20-19.
In the A game Taylor Pruitt and Hannah Wainman scored 10 and 9 points, respectively.
In the B game GMS lost 24-14. Kylie Smotherman scored 4, Jessie Bennett and Eryn Beck had 3 each and Erica Davies added 2.
Greencastle will travel to Northridge at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
