Eagles, Cougars split 7th-grade contests

The South Putnam boys' seventh grade basketball teams hosted North Putnam Wednesday night, with the two schools splitting the two games. The South Putnam A team defeated North Putnam 41-21, but the Cougars' B team won 31-14.
In the A game, Lewie Knoy led the way for the Eagles, scoring 17 points. Aaron Parker was just behind with 15.
