Glen 'Punkin' Sutherlin

Glen "Punkin" Suther­lin, 75, San Jose, Calif., died Thursday at his residence.

Born in Russellville, he was the son of Glen W. and Mary Louise (Johnston) Sutherlin.

A graduate of Greencastle High School, he was employed by IBM Corp. for 24 years as a purchaser. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving on the USS Boxer during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion and Moose.

His wife, Mary, preceded him in death after 42 years of marriage.

Surviving are three children, James Sutherlin and wife Cindy, Linda Gleed and husband Craig, and Pam Core and husband Jory, all of California; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service was conducted Sunday at Lima Family Mortuary, San Jose, Calif.

Private burial will be conducted.
