Harold Boldon

Pastor Harold Boldon, 77, Brazil, died Tuesday at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

Born in Green Bay, Wis., he was the son of Adolph A. and Ella (Morris) Boldon.

Pastor Boldon obtained his ministerial education at Lincoln Christian College and furthered his knowledge through the Hospital Chaplain program at Indiana University. He has served as a minister in many locations including Missouri, Indiana, Florida and Minnesota, and had preached in India and Canada.

He was married to Patricia Atkinson Boldon. She died in August 2001.

He and his wife located in the Brazil area in 1988. He had been a member of the Berea Christian Church.

Survivors include his three children, Peggy Liddil and husband Thomas, Indianapolis, Daniel Eugene Boldon and wife Tammy, New York, and Betty Jane Anderson and husband Linden, Minne-sota; a sister, Gretta May Marks, Jenison, Mich.; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia, and sister Doris Wiersbe.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Berea Christian Church with Bro. Don Paden officiating.

Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday at French Funeral Home, Brazil, and at the church one hour prior to services.
