NP 7th girls defeat Tuttle

BAINBRIDGE -- The North Putnam 7th grade girls' basketball team won a hard-fought game with Tuttle Middle School Thursday night, 31-27.

The Cougar offense improved as the game wore on, totaling just two points in the first quarter, but scoring nine and eight in the middle two quarters. In the fourth, they broke into double figures with 12 points.

Samantha Lucas led the Cougars with 16 points. Katie Welch was next with seven.
